We are excited to introduce Jenna Metivier as our new Service Manager. Jenna has been working with us for a few months now. We officially brought her on board as our Service Manager this past month, though, and we’re looking forward to working with her in this new role.
So, Jenna, tell us a little about your professional background.
I’ve honed my customer service skills in a variety of settings and roles, from a Front End Supervisor at a natural supermarket to a Social Worker for preschool families. My roots are in art and education, so I like to think I bring a creative yet pragmatic approach to the table.
What’s your role here at Sonitrol of Louisville?
As the Service Department Manager, I oversee customer care and service requests. Our goal is to make everything run as smoothly as possible. Customer care maintains account information pertaining to users, schedules, reports, etc. We field incoming calls and emails, communicate with our Central Monitoring Station, and assist customers with troubleshooting. When systems have issues that require a site visit, I work with our Service Technicians to deliver a quick response and knowledgeable solution.
There’s a lot going on as service manager. What keeps you alert?
Artisan-roasted coffee and my two rescue terriers.
What do you like doing in your free time?
I enjoy being outdoors, listening to podcasts, and exploring the food and drink scene in Louisville.
Recall a time you wish you had more security.
I once hitchhiked across the Belizean border with my family when we failed to plan some details in our trip. It was a memorable experience but probably not the safest choice.
