Videofied is a verified indoor/outdoor security system that is completely wireless and requires no AC power. When the motion-triggered camera is activated, it begins streaming 10 seconds of live video footage to our central station where it is analyzed by our expert operators. The ability for another human to view video from your facility and verify any crime in progress gives you the highest possible priority police response—and false alarms become a thing of the past!
Here’s How it Works in 10 Steps
Intruder enters the area.
Motion viewer senses the motion and turns on the video stream.
The video stream records a 10-second clip.
The motion viewer transmits the video clip by cell signal to the Internet.
The Internet sends the video clip to our Central Station.
Our Central Station operators verify that the clip shows a legitimate intrusion (for example, a person in the clip, not a cat).
Central Station reports this verified intrusion to the proper authorities with law enforcement.
Law enforcement dispatches immediately because the call is verified
Law enforcement arrives on site on average 7 minutes after the first clip is verified (as opposed to roughly 40+ minutes for unverified calls)
Law enforcement apprehends the intruder.
Videofied’s motion sensor detects movement and begins securely streaming the video clip to our Central Station via the internet or cellular connection. Door contacts, motion detectors, and smoke detectors can be added to any system for complete protection.
